7. Attaching the Front Brake and MudguardUpdated 3 days ago
First remove the small plastic protector that keeps the brake pads separated in transit. If needed to remove the protector, push on the black part of the brakes to separate the brake pads.
Place the front brake with the brake pads on either side of the front brake disc and in line with the two wholes on the front fork. Then screw it in with the two large screws.
Attaching the mudguard requires four long screws, four bolts, the brake wire holder, the smallest spanner and the allen key.
Place the mudguard over the top of the wheel, with the shorter part towards the front of the scooter.
On the hole closest towards the back of the scooter on the left hand side (from the perspective of sitting on the scooter), put the screw through the hole in the front fork, then through the brake wire holder, then through the hole in the mudguard and then attach the bolt at the back. The other three screws are the same but without the brake wire holder.
Put the brake wire in position so it is held by the brake wire holder and make sure the wheel can move freely without scraping the mudguard.
The rear reflector requires the small spanner as well as a nut. Place the rear reflector in position, aligned to the two holes, then tighten the nut.
